Is there a way to have the event postings list on a wordpress page? For example NextGEN Gallery uses a code that pulls the photo albums to a page with a simple code: [album id=18 template=extend].
At this time, every where there is the post or page content, the event will be display if you created it. So a code to put in a page is useless.
